On academia
Putting aside the continuing trend toward an inverse value-to-cost ratio in formal education, one may ask: where are all of Cam's degrees?
Truth be told, I did really enjoy school (and did well academically). If time weren't finite, I would have loved pursuing a PhD in psychology.
I opted out of college education to pursue honing my existing skills. My teachers, professors, guidance counselors, assistant principal, and funny enough, even my doctor, all encouraged this decision. My parents too.
Many of my closest friends went on to join notable Universities including Caltech, Columbia, Duke, Carnegie Mellon, Oberlin, Northeastern, Case Western Reserve.
In absence of a school, the student mentality remains.
